Self-Care Series – Mindful Movement & Meditation

Six classes to experience yoga and meditation
through the lens of mindfulness

Have you ever wanted to learn more about what mindfulness is and how to bring the practice into your daily life? This series provides you with education and training of mindfulness skills which can be helpful in lowering stress, decreasing anxiety/depression, improving memory, and strengthening your relationships (to others and yourself).

In the classes you will experience gentle yoga movements and poses combined with mindful inquiry, guided meditation, and pranayama (breathing exercises). The relaxing nature of the class will help you unwind mentally and reduce tension physically. By the end of the series you will have an understanding of the various styles of meditation and a foundation of mindfulness to use as a tool for emotional regulation. This series is suitable for beginner-level participants.

Classes are offered both in the studio or online through Zoom.
