Getting Grounded Through Body-Mindfulness & Yoga (Online)

A new online yoga workshop giving you an experience of grounding and body-based mindfulness, and learning how to apply these skills to daily life.

During times of uncertainty, fear, and stress, it’s human nature to get caught in the overthinking state of the mind where we ruminate and worry about things in imagined scenarios. When we spend a lot of time in this mind-state we negatively affect our internal health and upset our homeostasis.

Learning skills of mindfulness and body-based grounding can shift our brains from the thinking state to the aware state, and improve our internal harmony and well-being.

This online, live workshop begins with a 30 minute yoga practice, letting you experience grounding and mindfulness techniques which bring the body back to its natural resting state. Once you have experienced the class, a discussion and educational component will take place to highlight each of the techniques used, why they are helpful, and how to adapt them to your daily life.
